A shot in the dark...but we had a single workstation crashing like this at startup after the 6.0 upgrade. It ended up being the default print driver selected in the OS...apparently the client checks the driver at startup and this was crashing it. When we removed the printer it didn't crash, so we updated to the latest print driver and it stopped crashing. Drove us mad for days.
At least its a way to test...choose another default printer and see if it still crashes.
